GIS ADVANCED DIPLOMA GRADUATE

   Greetings! My name is Chris Sostad, and I reside in the beautiful Comox Valley, B.C. Thank you for visiting my portfolio. Along with my degrees in Geography and Education, I have completed an Advanced Diploma in GIS at BCIT. Currently, I am working as a GIS Coordinator for GeoBC, (Ministry of Water,Land , Resource Stewardship) utilizing ArcGIS Pro and Python to conduct spatial analysis and to develop GIS web applications.

    I have demonstrated success in utilizing my GIS expertise within the mining industry to identify valuable mineral properties, as well as in the telecom industry for network analysis.
